Professional Hockey Players all over the world are focusing on improving posture more and more. This allows them the ability to keep performing at their optimal level, consistently.

Athletic training will jar and misalign the spinal column naturally, because the spine is at the center of the body.
Hockey Players have also discovered that proper care of their spine allows them to achieve an optimal level of performance when training and playing as well as aiding in a pain-free or at least better recovery in-season.

A properly aligned biomechanical spinal structure allows all athletes to achieve and maintain optimal communication between the brain and the extremities for sustainable patterns and success!

The 10 Minute Cushion is proud to have Gary Roberts on board!

We are proud to announce that Gary Roberts is now an authorized retailer for The 10 Minute Cushion.

Gary has been training many of the top NHL and Junior players at the Fitness Institute since 2011. Gary brings a tremendous amount of experience to the Centre having played 21 seasons in the NHL and winning the Stanley Cup in 1989. Since his retirement, Roberts has become a leader in high performance training and nutrition for both amateur and professional athletes.

The Gary Roberts High Performance Centre and Fitness Institute have teamed up with Beretta Farms in an effort to bring the NHL stars up to speed on health-promoting nutrition concepts and to teach them that great on-the-ice performance is secured in great part by what they eat off-the-ice!

Together with the Fitness Institute I’m now offering youth, junior and professional athletes an exclusive High Performance Training facility. The Gary Roberts High Performance Centre is for people who want to improve their health, productivity, performance, and most importantly their overall quality of life.

My inspiration for the High Performance Centre has grown out of my own journey to regenerate myself after I suffered a serious neck injury that forced me to retire from the NHL in 1996. After two neck surgeries and a year of dedicated rehabilitation focusing on state-of-the-art training, regeneration and nutrition therapy, I was able to return to the game.

Maintaining a high quality of life and helping young NHL and Junior players reach their potential are vitally important to me so I continue to seek out cutting edge training techniques, regeneration and proper nutrition as a way of life. Through the Gary Roberts High Performance Centre, I want to share these training techniques and therapies so others can reap the kinds of benefits I enjoyed throughout my career and everyday.
